Here are few of the things some of the people
I have worked with have said about me!
This one is from Dexter Goad, Shadowdog
Productions – “Mansions In Heaven”
Doug,
I regret to inform you that a couple other people narrowly beat you out
for the role of Larry. It's down to two, with one man having a huge upper
hand and he'll probably be the one who gets it.
But one aspect you showed us in doing Larry is perfect for Doctor Walker.
Your "creepy grin" is awesome. Plus you've proven that you can act. So we
don't even want you to audition for Doctor Walker, if you want the role, it
is yours. If it helps you decide, the role has been expanded from the
original version of the script posted on the website. A new ballroom scene
has been added and another scene with John has been expanded. I'm attaching
the second scene because the "creepy grin" required here is what makes you
perfect for this role.
Let me know if you accept the role, we'd be very excited to have you on
board.
Yours,
Dexter
PS. My girlfriend thinks you're the sexiest man we've seen at the
auditions so she is gonna be pissed if you're not in the movie. This had no
bearing on our decision, but I will breathe easier if you accept. And the
more sex appeal for both genders in the movie, the better.
The next one is from John Foutz, Foutz
Studios – “Mansions In Heaven”
Doug,
Not to get all sappy, but mere words cannot truly express how great it
is to work with you. Most actors, and that only includes those who can act,
tend to stick just to acting, but you help out in any way you can I and
wanted to be sure you know how much we appreciate it. Your talent and
great attitude will keep you in our minds for future Foutz Studios
productions.
John
He also wrote:
"Doug Hammond is 1st class talent just waiting to be discovered by Hollywood. I
have used him as an actor in two productions I've directed and each time he arrived
on time, prepared to be the character. His attitude is always positive and takes
great direction. I would highly recommend him for any production."

And this is a partial reply from Angela
Butler, Appleridge Films – “Graveyard Love”
Hi Doug,
…………………We all agree that good actors are the key to a great film. It doesn't matter how good the
script is, if your actors can't act, it won't be good. We are very confident that this film will be great! We
are glad to have you on board and hope that this project will be a great springboard for all of us to
continue creating things that we love. I know this gives you more info than you requested, but just
wanted to give you a little insight into our thoughts. I look forward to working with you.
Thanks,
Angela
They also had this to say:

This is from Christopher Thomas, Director –
“Guest Check”:
Doug,
I just wanted to thank you again for your great work on the shoot this
past Saturday. I was very impressed with your acting ability and your
preparation for the role. But ultimately, it was all about the bra
dancing. You totally nailed it!
You were awesome. I hope to work with you again in the future!
Thanks!
